Summer is almost here, and if you live in Southern California you know that we have been flirting with her for a while now.
Some of my favorite things about Summer are BBQs, short shorts, swimming pools, and gingham print everything! I honestly think I have been in love with this classic checked print since the first time I saw the iconic photo of Bridget Bardot in her pink checkered wedding dress, or it could be when Dorothy's dress went from black and white to blue and white in technicolor. I'm not quite sure when it was, but I have zero problem walking around looking like a picnic table as soon as the weather gets where I like it.
Every year around March you see gingham popping up all over the place. I do feel that this year in particular, things have gotten really exciting and its incredibly easy to mix small doses of the print into your every day wardrobe, or go balls to the wall in head to toe checks. I myself, do both.
